Welcome to my Portfolio

I never set out to document history, but history kept happening. My work has always been a way of processing—if not fully reprocessing—the absurdity of living through one crisis after another. I started painting memes, then I started painting politics, and now politics are memes. The line between them has all but disappeared. My art is both a reaction and an archive, a personal attempt to capture what it feels like to be alive in this moment—angry, disillusioned, exhausted, but still reaching for meaning, connection, and humor in the wreckage.

This portfolio is divided into three collections, each representing a different approach to making sense of the world:

  • Forced Witness & Warning: Forced Witness was a happy accident. Between 2020 and 2024, I unknowingly built an extensive body of work that captured the chaos, grief, and absurdity of those years. It wasn’t until my solo exhibition closed in February 2025 that I realized the best way to navigate this ever-growing collection was to shift into a new era. That’s when I picked up a spiritual successor and named it Warning. Unlike Forced Witness, which came together organically over time, Warning is deliberate. It is an ongoing and urgent response to the political fanaticism, civil rights regressions, reproductive rights attacks, the erosion of healthcare and education, and the increasingly aggressive avalanche that is the second Trump administration. This collection continues my commitment to documenting history from the perspective of someone who refuses to be passive, who refuses to accept erasure, and who knows that humor and horror are often two sides of the same moment.

  • Saturn Return: While my more political work is driven by external events, Saturn Return is an internal reckoning. Named after the astrological transit that marks a period of upheaval and transformation in one’s late twenties, this collection captures the shifts I’ve undergone from 2024 to the present. It is about friendship, experiences, abundance, gratitude, growth, loss, rebirth, and everything in between that doesn’t immediately fit into my other collections. If Forced Witness was about surviving history, Saturn Return is about surviving myself—learning how to exist in a way that is sustainable, joyful, and meaningful, even as the world continues to unravel.

Right now, my subject matter is almost exclusively focused on current events—I hardly have time to create works for Saturn Return at this moment. That’s why it exists in its own category: because when I do make time for it, it stands out.

This portfolio is structured to give each of these bodies of work the space they need. You can explore them through the dropdown menu under “Portfolio.” Each painting is part of a larger story, shaped by the moment in which it was created. If something resonates with you, or if you’re interested in purchasing a piece or commissioning new work, feel free to reach out.

Art is how I hold onto what feels real in a world that is constantly shifting. I don’t always know if I’m fully processing it, but I do know I have to keep painting.
