Update!

Hello! I do apologize for how long it has taken me to provide an update on here. I feel like most of my followers are on social media which is how I connect with them most of the time, but I should not be neglecting this platform.

Quite a bit has changed since the last time I authored a blog post, but mostly, I'm back in school! Yes, I am back in school learning and re-learning art. I'm currently enrolled in a ceramics and drawing course. The drawing course has definitely improved my drawing skills and I have more confidence going into a composition. I am finding a distinct style of its own without the paint and brush too, so that's fun. I'm considering dabbling and making a comic, which I have been considering for over a decade, but I have not figured out what the topic would be. If you have any suggestions, let me know... my drawing instructor probably will think a weird opinion of me when she sees my sketch book entries for this week, in which I paid tribute to 9/11 through drawing presidential scandals.

I'm still painting house, so that's not anything different. I'm trying to expand my horizons and either jump into a new trade alltogether or try to figure out how to get into design work or mural stuff... I'm a solo show so I have to be mindful about my capabilities, but if you or anyone you know wants a mural or something creative and fun done, let me know. I have tons of experience painting in my own home. *crickets*

Anyways, it's September already, eh. 2022 hasn't been as bad to me as its predecessors. I currently have work on display at North Suburban Center for the Arts in Fridley, MN. It is on display until September 24, 2022. Check it out and let me know what you think.
